Over 1,000 local residents experienced a loss of power Tuesday afternoon.
According to the First Energy website, the majority of the outages took place west of Butler City in Butler Township.
The power went down shortly after 4 p.m. and although website estimates had the estimated time of restoration around 6 p.m. most residents saw power restored around 5 p.m.
Stores in the Moraine Point Plaza were also impacted.
The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
