
There will only be two candidates on the ballot in the fall for two seats on the Butler County Court of Common Pleas.
Matt McCune and John Scialabba won both the Republican and Democratic primaries, meaning they both will advance to the fall general election.
They were the only two candidates to cross-file; Jim Inscoe and Jake Roberts were on the Republican ballot only.
With two seats available, that means McCune and Scialabba will most likely become the next two judges on the Butler County Court of Common Pleas. Although, independent candidate could be on the ballot in the fall if they receive enough signatures.
