The SRU men’s track & field team finished third overall at the PSAC Championships that they hosted. Sprinter Kanye Thompson, who also plays football at The Rock, broke the program record in the 100-meter dash. He ran the race in 10.13 seconds, for the fastest time in PSAC history. But, Thompson doesn’t get the official mark in the PSAC record books — because wind speed is also evaluated for the official mark. He gets the Rock program all-time mark, but not the state record.
