The Steelers announced their 2026 Hall of Honor class on Saturday. Former #1 draft pick – defensive back J.T. Thomas, offensive lineman and broadcaster Craig Wolfley and general manager Kevin Colbert make up the group that will be inducted.
–Thomas, a starter in three of the Steelers’ Super Bowl victories, was selected with the No. 24 overall pick in the 1973 NFL Draft. He played eight seasons with the Steelers and was named to the Pro Bowl in 1976
— Colbert, a Pittsburgh native, graduated from North Catholic High School and Robert Morris University. He was hired by the Steelers in 2000 after spending time in the Miami Dolphins’ and Detroit Lions’ scouting department. He would spend 22 seasons with the Steelers.
— Wolfley played 10 seasons for the Steelers from 1980-1989 as a key component of their offensive line. He appeared in 129 games with the Steelers. He completed his playing career with two seasons with the Vikings before retiring at the end of the 1991 season. Wolfley returned to Pittsburgh and worked the Steelers sideline for 19 years on their radio broadcasts. He passed away in March of 2025 after a battle with cancer.
This year’s group marks the 10th class inducted since the Hall of Honor was created in 2017. The Steelers will present the class at Acrisure Stadium during a September 27th game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
