Crews will be taking the next steps in a local road project this week.
PennDOT officials say that tomorrow (Monday) through Friday daylight median work will take place on Route 228 in Middlesex and Adams Townships as part of the Three Degree Road Intersection Project.
Drivers are advised to use caution at the intersection with Robert Williams Drive as left turns will be restricted. Signage will be posted on Route 228 to assist drivers to use the jughandles at Officer Edward Brooks Drive and Helenz Way. This will allow crews to accomplish safety improvements with through and turn lanes, drainage and guide rail upgrades, signal replacement, ADA ramps and sidewalks.
Independence Excavating will complete this $56 million project this November.
