The Pennsylvania Turnpike will be increasing tolls next year, but its one of the lowest rate increases in years.
The Turnpike Commission approved a 3.5 percent increase that will start in January. That’s the lowest since 2014.
Those who use E-ZPass will see the toll increase from $1.13 for each overhead toll gantry to $1.17. Toll by plate will go from $2.26 to $2.34.
This is the 19th year in a row that Turnpike rates have gone up.
