Two people are facing charges after they overdosed on drugs at their home while young children were inside.
Police were called to a home on the 400 block of Mitchell Hill Road in Summit Township last Thursday for two people overdosing.
The caller was a young teenager that lived in the house. He said there were also two children around the age of two. A search of the home found drugs in bags and a large sum of cash.
When officers arrived on scene EMS was working on 44-year-old Nathan Frndak and 36-year-old Jessica Bisignano. When Frndak became irate with officers after asking questions he was arrested. Bisignano was interviewed as well and was given the option to be arrested or go to the hospital, she chooses custody.
Both Frndak and Bisignano were charged with three counts each of endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person along with minor drug charges.
They are being held in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 bail as they await preliminary hearings
