State Representative Tim Bonner is introducing legislation to bring a uniform bail process to Pennsylvania.
Bonner is calling for the state’s Sentencing Commission to gather data from all of the counties and to find a fair bail-setting recommendation for courts.
Bonner believes there is “little consistency in the setting of a bail by a judge.”
The resolution has been submitted to the House Judiciary Committee for consideration.
