Work is set to begin next week on a stretch of Route 228 East.
PennDOT officials say there will be gas line work happening on Route 228 (Ekastown Road) in between Saxonburg Boulevard and Sarver Road starting Monday.
The work is expected to last from June until October.
Crews will need to make short-term lane closures, which will have flaggers controlling traffic. PennDOT urges drivers to be aware that delays may happen.
