The funeral arrangements have been announced for a state trooper that was killed in a vehicle accident last week in Schuylkill County.
Funeral services for Trooper Michael Pahira will be on Wednesday at North Schuylkill Junior/Senior High School. A viewing will be held at 8 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m.
The visitation and service are open to the public but burial services will be private.
Pahira was killed on Wednesday along I-80 in Cass Township after being hit by a semitruck while assisting another truck.
Governor Shapiro ordered all flags on state properties be flown at half-staff until Pahira’s burial.
