An Erie man is facing charges in Butler County after he attempted to flee police after a fight at a Slippery Rock Township apartment.
Police were called to the Grove Apartments Saturday when when 20-year-old Dominic Berarducci got into a fight near the apartment’s pool, then attempted to run when officers arrived on scene.
According to charging documents, an officer saw Berarducci hit the victim in the face with a closed fist. When attempting to take Berarducci into custody during the fight, he fled leading to a foot chase that led officers to use a taser to subdue and place him custody.
Berarducci is facing several charges including evading arrest, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for July 15 and Berarducci was released on nonmonetary bond.
