Pitt women’s volleyball star Olivia Babcock has been named the ACC’s Female Athlete of the Year. Babcock previously had been named the volleyball national Player of the Year, after she helped guide the Panthers back to the NCAA’s national semifinals in 2025. During the season, Babcock twice set single-game program highs in that category, well into the 40’s! She becomes just the second Pitt standout to earn Athlete of the Year honors since the Panthers joined the ACC in 2013. Kenny Pickett was named the male Athlete of the Year in 2022 after guiding the football team to the 2021 conference title.
