Pennsylvania unemployment numbers have decreased slightly over the past month.
According to the Department of Labor and Industry, the state unemployment rate dropped by one-tenth of a percentage point to 4.1 percent in June.
The PA rate was one-tenth of a percentage point below the U.S. unemployment rate, which was unchanged from the previous month at 4.2 percent.
The state unemployment rate has declined two-tenths of a point compared to June 2025 while the U.S. rate is up one-tenth compared to last June.
