A local community is preparing for an all-ages event to benefit local veterans and their families.
VFW Auxiliary Post 499 in Evans City is holding the 4th annual Family Freedom Festival beginning Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. and continuing on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. in the 400 block of North Washington Street in Evans City.
Saturday’s activities will include live music, food trucks, vendor booths, and children’s activities while those stopping by Sunday will be able to enjoy a car show as well as vendor tables and more.
A donation requested for admission will benefit a variety of local veterans organizations.
