Motorists who use a local roadway should be aware of work planned to begin tomorrow.
According to PennDOT, beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday night, the rolling closures of the Route 422 Shearer Bridge in Butler and Summit Townships will run until 9 p.m. in 15-minute intervals.
Drivers will see the closures eastbound from one mile in advance of the Route 8 interchange. Inclement weather will push this work to Monday.
This $6.2 million bridge rehabilitation project is estimated to be completed in December.
