Three people have been placed in the Butler County Prison after being accused of assaulting and sending two people to the hospital.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday on the 200 block of Greenview Drive in the City of Butler.
According to charging documents, 21-year-old Jaylin Michalski, 19-year-old Noah Wehunt both of Butler, broke into the victim’s apartment, assaulted her, and left her with injuries that required she be taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
Police also charged 18-year-old Sean Lewis of Butler for an incident that occurred outside the apartment. Police say Lewis ran over another woman outside of the home. Lewis was charged with aggravated assault with a vehicle.
Michalski and Wehunt were charged with burglary and Wehunt is also facing an additional charge for being in illegal possession of a gun.
All three people are awaiting a preliminary hearing.
