The Mars Area School District plans to honor local veterans and first responders at a football game tomorrow.
The “Salute to Service Night” will take place Friday at the Mars Athletic Complex as the Fightin’ Planets Varsity Football teams takes on the Chartiers Valley Colts at 7 p.m.
All active, reserve, and veteran military members along with all first responders with valid identification will receive free admission to the game and be recognized. The student section will have a USA theme.
Adams Area Fire District will fly the American flag over the stadium and the Pine Richland/Mars Area US Air Force JROTC will present the colors.
