Traffic was delayed for a time this morning on Route 228 due to a crash.
The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. at Route 228 and Warrendale Road.
Dispatchers say a car and tri-axle truck were involved in the crash. The accident led to fuel leaking on the road, causing a portion of Route 228 to close.
It’s not clear what led to the accident. All lanes reopened within an hour.
