Slippery Rock University is launching a capital campaign that looks to raise millions for the school.
The campaign is called “Because this is The Rock” and it aims to bring in $35 million for SRU.
Slippery Rock officials say the majority of the funding will go toward academic programs and facilities, along with scholarships. There will also be funding for athletics.
The campaign has raised $20 million so far and is looking to meet its fundraising goal by the end of 2028.
