Local residents have a chance to go back in time and relive the area’s educational history this weekend.
The Butler County Schoolhouse Driving Tour will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Seven different locations will offer free admission along with school life activities and talks including:
- The Little Red Schoolhouse on East Jefferson Street in Butler
- Crocker School on New Castle Road in Slippery Rock
- Euclid School in Butler
- Sample School on Rochester Road in Cranberry
- Foltz School on Route 8 in Slippery Rock
- Six Points School House on Foxburg Road in Parker
- #5 Forsythe School on Valencia Road in Mars
Anyone who fills out a report card by visiting four different stops will be entered to win one of seven raffle baskets.
