Butler City Council will pay for three members of the City Landbank to attend a conference in Pittsburgh later this month.
Council authorized the payment of $2,700 from the Legacy Fund account as part of their meeting Thursday night.
The “Reclaiming Vacant Properties” is a national conference that will take place from September 22nd to the 25th. Mayor Bob Dandoy is a member of the Landbank and also plans to attend the event at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center where he anticipates learning both specific and general information to help the new city organization.
Public meetings of the Butler City Landbank take place every second Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Butler City Building Council Chambers.
