Kyle Larson broke his own track record by leading 235 laps at Kansas Speedway, but despite winning both opening stages, he had to pass Joe Gibbs Racing driver Chase Briscoe with seven laps remaining for the victory Sunday. Briscoe had taken the lead from Larson with 30 laps remaining in the race, but faded to fourth in the final laps. Austin Cindric was the runner-up, followed by Denny Hamlin. Larson has now extended his points lead to 26 over Hamlin, as the drivers head to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the mid-point race of their “Chase” Playoffs.
