A Pittsburgh man who led police on a chase through Clay and Penn Townships is in the Butler County Prison.
It happened Sunday around 1:30 a.m. along Route 8 South when officers spotted a vehicle traveling at a high speed.
According to charging documents, the vehicle was going up to 120-mph in a 55-mph zone. Officers then took off after the vehicle, which then allegedly hit speeds as high as 140 miles-per-hour through an active construction zone.
Officers were finally able to block the driver Colin Noone-Hirosky at Route 8 and Renfrew Road.
Noone-Hirosky is facing several charges including fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, recklessly endangering another person, and a DUI.
Bail was set at $50,000 and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for August 11.
