A man was flown to the hospital after an accident at McConnells Mill over the weekend.
It happened yesterday around 1:15 p.m. about a half-mile from the covered bridge.
According to dispatchers, an elderly man fell 30 to 50 feet while walking on a trail.
Additional crews were called to rescue the man due to the trail being difficult to access.
He suffered head and shoulder injuries. The man was flown to an Erie hospital for treatment.
