Police are providing more information on a crash that sent two people to the hospital over the weekend.
The accident happened Saturday around 6:30 p.m. on Evans City Road at the intersection with Shannon Road.
Police say 18-year-old Alexander Davis of Vandergrift made a left turn onto Shannon Road and pulled in front of another car driven by a 16-year-old from Connoquenessing Township.
The teen’s truck went into the guardrail after the crash. He was injured and taken to Children’s Hospital, while his passenger 46-year-old Justin Charlton of Butler was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
A portion of Evans City Road was closed for a time.
