The next step in construction on the Zelienople Bridge is happening.
PennDOT officials say they’re beginning Phase 2 of the project, which will change the traffic pattern.
However, southbound traffic will still have to detour, but northbound traffic can use the bridge on Route 19.
The detour remains the same, using Little Creek Road, then onto I-79 South. Drivers will then take I-79 to Exit 85 then to the Zelienople North Exit. Finally, following Route 19 back into Zelienople.
East and West Northview Drive are also closed with detours. Drivers will take Route 19 to Route 68 and go onto Short Street or North Clay Street.
The work is expected to done through the 21st of August.
