Pennsylvania American Water is reminding residents of their customer assistance program.
It’s called “H2O Help to Others” and it helps customers who need help with covering water bills.
PA American Water can offer financial assistance, bill discounts, and forgiving a past-due balance.
Officials say an estimated 9,200 Butler County residents are eligible for the program. However, only 18 percent of those people have signed up for the program.
