The Pittsburgh Penguins announced Sunday that they have signed restricted free agents Egor Chinakhov, Arturs Silovs, David Gustafsson and Joel Blomqvist to new deals. Chinkahov signed a three-year contract with an average annual value of $6.25 million after the 25-year-old winger scored 18 goals in 43 games as a Penguin.
The 25-year old Silovs signed a one-year deal, while goaltender Blomqvist joins him with a two-year, entry-level contract after spending the past three seasons at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Silovs started 39 regular-season games for the Penguins, in addition to being the primary starter in the post-season. Gustafsson, who was recently acquired from Winnipeg, received a one-year deal.
