The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue is beginning a new fiscal year with tax collections totaling just over $3 billion.
Revenue from sales tax in July totaled $1.5 billion while personal income tax was $1.3 billion for the month.
The Motor License Fund received nearly $290 million for the month from gas and diesel taxes, as well as other license, fine, and fee revenues.
This collection data does not include a comparison against anticipated amounts because the official estimate for the 2026-27 fiscal year has not been finalized.
