Two medical helicopters were called after a crash last night in Butler Township.
The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the Route 422 westbound on-ramp coming off the Moraine Point Plaza exit.
Crews arrived to find two vehicles involved in the crash, with one car in a ditch. There was also one man who was trapped inside the car.
Two people were seriously injured and medical helicopters were called. Exact details on their injuries are not known, but both were flown to Pittsburgh hospitals.
Crews remained on scene for over an hour.
