High school sports scores from Wednesday:
Girls Soccer:
–Butler defeated North Hills 1-0. Lucia Leyland scored the only goal of the game as the Golden Tornado opened section play with a win. They are now 2-1-1 (1-0).
–Seneca Valley also opened section play with a 2-0 victory over Pine-Richland. Izzy Yuhouse and Cece Wildrick scored for the Raiders, who improved to 3-0-2 overall.
–Mars and Knoch battled to a 0-0 draw, but both squads remain unbeaten.
Boys Soccer:
–Jake Olkawski scored the only goal in North Catholic’s 1-0 win over Armstrong. The Trojans improved to 3-0.
Boys Golf:
–Mars defeated North Allegheny 191-200.
–Freeport downed Knoch 186-226.
Girls Golf:
–North Allegheny-164 Butler-218.
–North Catholic-174 Shady Side Academy-187.
Girls Volleyball:
–Moniteau-3 Brockway-0.
