A bill that would create a statewide whistleblower office for reporting fraud, waste, or abuse of state funds is being proposed.
Currently, if someone in Pennsylvania identifies corruption in a Pennsylvania agency, it is reported to that office. But this bill will create a 24/7 hotline and online reporting system for anyone to report corruption to one place.
The bill has yet to be formally introduced in the house.
