As the leaves continue to turn, a region in Western Pennsylvania is receiving recognition as one of the top spots for leaf peepers in the U.S.
A USA Today poll recently named the Laurel Highlands as the sixth best destination for fall colors.
The Laurel Highlands encompasses Fayette, Somerset and Westmoreland counties and features nearly 200,000 acres of public land.
It’s currently considered to be the moderate category of foliage.
