With Spirit Airlines officially shutting down, the state attorney general is offering tips for anyone that might have a booking with the now defunct airline.
Dave Sunday is encouraging customers to contact their credit card companies, third-party booking sites, or Spirit directly for a refund.
He also adds that because Spirit filed for bankruptcy, some claims may be subject to the Bankruptcy Court’s jurisdiction and claims process.
There is also a website dedicated for Spirit customers who might have questions.
